Why Your Role Matters
Based within the renowned School of Engineering & Technology, this role is a research-only position. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out tasks related to an ARC ITTC-funded research project including laboratory and field scale tests and numerical modelling, publications and report writing.
Accountabilities
- Contribute to collaborative research to enhance quality outcomes.
- Undertake specific projects under guidance and assist in developing research.
- Conduct and support research that generates peer-recognised scholarly output.
Who You Are (skills and experience):
• A PhD in Civil/Geotechnical or Material Engineering or in an area related to soil material improvement using low-carbon techniques.
• Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
• Demonstrated ability to undertake high quality academic research and conduct independent research with limited supervision.
• Demonstrated track record of publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with a diverse range of stakeholders and students.
