This role is on site full time at our Port Macquarie Clinical Campus.

Why this role matters:
The Administrative Assistant, Rural Support will provide efficient and proactive administrative support to the Rural Support team, contributing to the smooth delivery of the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) program and related activities across the Rural Clinical Campuses (RCC). The role supports operational and logistical functions, ensuring compliance with program requirements. Working closely with the Administrative Officer, the position involves assisting with a range of allocated tasks, while maintaining discretion and professionalism in building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This role reports to the Administrative Officer, Rural Support Coordinator, and has no direct reports.
Skills Required:
- Diploma or equivalent level of knowledge and competence gained through another combination of education, training and work experience.
- Sound organisational skills including ability to prioritise tasks and duties in order to meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to provide effective service and support at all levels.
- Advanced interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a team, preferably within a customer service environment.
- Proficient level of computer literacy with advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated aptitude in the use and administration of online systems and databases.
