The UNSW IT Change Practice Team provide change management expertise and advice to project teams, uplifting the maturity of the design and implementation of change management initiatives across the IT investment portfolio and creating greater visibility of the level and impact of change within and across the university.
The AI Engagement & Implementation Lead will drive the rollout and adoption of enterprise-wide AI tools in UNSW in 2025 and 2026. The role is responsible for the development and effective implementation of an AI tools rollout & change approach, with strong capability uplift, engagement and organisational change elements. These strategies will support successful adoption of AI tools for staff across UNSW.
Accountabilities:

Lead the Change Enablement of enterprise-wide AI tools such as Open AI and Copilot M365, working closely with the program change team, project team and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with people, processes and systems.

Lead, plan, implement and manage the engagement and adoption approach for the AI enterprise implementation, working closely with AI Capability professionals.

Lead, scope and oversee a plan to collaborate and communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including a comprehensive engagement strategy to support the capability uplift and adoption of AI tools.
Your skills and experience:

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and / or solid experience in delivering effective change management in large scale technology projects including changes to people, structures, technology, process, finance, and operations.

Effective self-leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, and importantly, the ability to influence stakeholders.

Capacity to plan to achieve priority outcomes and respond flexibly to changing and at times ambiguous environments; ability to work systematically to resolve problems, identify causes, anticipate implications, and make informed decisions.
